It is a doorway to action and adventure for young people in 73 nations of the world. Royal Rangers seeks to develop the total person for Christ-spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially.
The Royal Rangers ministry provides exciting opportunities for boys and girls, in co-educational nations, to discover a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. This life-changing ministry is one of the world’s largest and foremost Christian adventure-based mentoring programs.
The Royal Rangers ministry incorporates both fun and accomplishment in its ministry methods. It features indoor and outdoor activities including camping, recreation, first aid, crafts, hobby skills, nature study, sports achievements, awards, trips, Bible study and much more.
These activities are among the resources used by Royal Rangers to build bridges to the heart of youth. The heartbeat of the ministry is to enable its members to become more successful in every area of their lives.
Ranger Kids
(Ages 5, 6 & 7)
Ranger Kids will introduce youngsters to the great outdoors
through a non-camping program that encourages indoor and outdoor field
trips and day camps.The quarterly advancement patches lead to the yearly trail
awards. These trails feature exciting crafts and skills, advancement
activities, Bible memory verses, and many opportunities for growth and
maturity.
Discovery Rangers
(Ages 8, 9 & 10) Will experience a variety of indoor and outdoor activities and
events that include an introduction to camping. The Discovery
advancement trail introduces Rangers to a skill and Bible merit
advancement system that leads to their highest award, the Gold Bowline
Knot Trail patch and pin. The youth also have opportunity to attend
training camps and develop leadership skills.
Adventure Rangers (Ages 11, 12 & 13)
Adventure Rangers will continue to participate in
indoor and outdoor activities that will include camping and non-camping
events, personal and life skill development, and further opportunities
for leadership skills growth.The Adventure Rangers merit-based advancement trail
culminates with the Gold Medal of Achievement he highest award a
Ranger can earn.
Expedition Rangers (Ages 14, 15, 16 & 17) Are provided advanced opportunities for personal growth and skill
development through four advancement options: High action Rangers,
Leadership development, Ministry and Christian service, and Xtreme
outdoor sports and activities.
Spiritual growth is emphasized through the “Spirit Challenge”
lessons, which help young people to mature and to apply spiritual
truths to their everyday lives.
