RRI Asia Pacific Summit

Royal Rangers International is getting ready to hold it’s 5th annual RRI Council meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This event will take place from April 22 - 24, 2008, and will be hosted Jim Guneratnam, the RRI Representative for Asia Pacific. The meeting will be immediately followed by the first ever regional conference for Royal Rangers in Asia Pacific. Jim, who has been actively involved in the Royal Rangers of Malaysia for years, has been quietly working behind the scenes to promote and revitalize Rangers across the whole region. Now, he is ready to host these two important events.

Regional conferences have worked well wherever RRI has instituted them, like the Seminario de Administración Nacional for Latin America and the Caribbean in 2006 and the Africa Summit held in 2007. In fact, the annual EuroLeader Conference has been one of the key reasons behind the strong unity and cooperation among the Ranger nations of Europe. Therefore, we are expecting great things and a “new day” for the Royal Rangers of Asia as a result of this upcoming summit.
