Jim Guneratnam is the Royal Rangers International (RRI) Regional Coordinator for Asia Pacific, a voluntary position he assumed in 2007. He joined Royal Rangers at age 12 as a Trailblazer (Adventure Ranger) when it first started in Malaysia, grew up in the program to become a leader in his outpost and church. He has served as a group commander, senior commander, district staff and as the national programs coordinator. He is an academy instructor, and has served at numerous training events in Malaysia and the region. Jim is passionate to see Royal Rangers established in all the nations in this region to reach, teach and keep the children and youths of Asia for Christ.
Jim serves full-time as Executive Administrator of Calvary Church, Kuala Lumpur as well as the Director of Calvary Communication, an extended ministry of Calvary Church, which he helped to establish in 1992. His parents, Prince and Petrina Guneratnam are the senior pastors of Calvary Church, one of the largest Pentecostal churches in Malaysia.
Jim is married to Amelia and they are the proud parents of two children, Jamie and James.
